FINALLY! After a month of road games, we are back on our home pitch.

Yesterday, I didn’t have a lot of time to write for the blog, so I posted a comment  on Facebook in regard to weather, hoping that the fans would come out. In just a short amount of time, comments starting showing up with such enthusiasm.

Just wanted to let you all know that we really do have the greatest fans in the MLS. The support you show us is just an epic feeling. Being the home team makes a big difference at game time. To come out and hear and see the people in the stands on their feet cheering definitely motivates us!

Keep up the cool signs, flags, and cheers, because we notice and hear all of you. A big thanks to the new and old supporter’s clubs too.

We are stoked to finally be home and are looking forward to hearing you in the stands tonight when we host Toronto!

This week, you can snag a free 5″x7″ autographed photo with any purchase from the online store (  It’s my birthday week so I thought that I’d get these out to you to celebrate a little bit.  A lot of you have already got your orders in, but there are still enough signed photos to last through Sunday.

Yesterday afternoon, we left SLC and landed in Columbus, Ohio last night to start getting ready for our match tomorrow against the Crew.  This is the first time that we will face them since the first round of the playoffs last season.

They are definitely a solid team from top to bottom and were the best regular season team during the 2009 season.  After a disappointing loss last week in Los Angeles, we will be looking to bounce back tomorrow night.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes today.  Make sure to tune into the game tomorrow night at 5:30pm (Utah time) on Channel 2.

Hey guys, this upcoming Friday, I will be celebrating another birthday.  So, this week to celebrate, everyone who buys any KB5 clothes off of the online store ( will get a autographed 5″x7″ photo from the 2009 MLS Cup.

Also, from now on, everyone who buys KB5 clothes will also be sent a sticker to rep KB5 and RSL.

Shortly, we will be announcing the release of the new King Charles long sleeve shirt, so make sure that you stay posted to check that out.

Saturday night ended with an unfortunate result in LA, but we’re definitely looking forward to having the Galaxy back at Rio Tinto Stadium with all of you supporting us in a few months.  Thanks for all of your continued support to us.  It really makes a difference and you really are the 12th man out there when we take the pitch at RTS.

On Friday afternoon following practice at the stadium, Good Things Utah teamed up with Make A Wish Foundation to grant a six year-old named Jonah his wish.

Jonah is a die-hard Real Salt Lake fan who goes to a bunch of our games with his mom and dad.

Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives.  Of all the things he could have asked for, his wish was to meet me and kick the ball around for a few minutes.  I was flattered that when he was asked, I was who he wanted to meet.

Around noon, Jonah came through the stadium tunnel decked out in RSL gear from head-to-toe, and made his way onto the edge of the field where I met him and asked if he wanted to kick the ball around.  Before I even finished asking him the question, he was off to the middle of the field with his ball ready to take me on.

What a great program Make A Wish Foundation is, where they continue to find ways to better the lives of those less fortunate.  It was great to take part in their program and hang out with Jonah for part of the afternoon.
